Doyeon Noro Kim has held multiple group exhibitions in London, Seoul and Stockholm. His personal experiences in psychosis have greatly changed his approach towards art. “Every colour and detail from everyday life felt overwhelmingly pleasurable, and also collectable.” Noro also describes the experience of psychosis as “being on another universe.” The artist is obsessed with recyclable objects, collecting and reusing it within his conceptualisation process. His subconscious intentions are to create 3D art pieces using recyclable materials, which never materialise. He utilises his experiences and estrange episodes during his psychosis as a resource for his art. Noro envisages providing beautiful yet fun abstract paintings to his audience. He finds art therapeutic pleasurable and addictive. Within each of his creations, he never loses the essence of Fashion Illustration. Audiences are invited to interact with his art and think outside the box to see what is going on.
